Doug Martinson is a Licensed Associate Counselor with a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rider University. Doug became interested in working in the counseling field after working through his own struggles with anxiety and depression throughout college.
Having prior work in addictions counseling, Doug is also passionate about helping those struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or those looking to develop coping skills. Doug’s counseling style is built on the foundation of strong empathy, positive affirmation, and recognition of client strengths and skills. Doug believes that through positive support and affirmation, anyone can learn and develop the tools they need to live the fulfilling life that they deserve.
